Welcome to Luxemburg Pet Clinic's Website

New paws welcome! We would love to meet you!

COVID-19 protocol until further notice

Due to the rapidly changing status of the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, we will be implementing additional safety measures at both Luxemburg Pet Clinic & Door County Veterinary Hospital to reduce risks to our clients and our staff. At this time we are still offering all of our services at both of our locations with some days having fewer than normal appointment slots.

We have been closely monitoring the rapidly changing status of the COVID-19 pandemic along with the changing status of our communities. Please understand that our staff will be practicing social distancing and personal safety for our protection along with yours. Our staff will be taking these precautions to be able to stay open for you and your pets so we can continue giving you and your pet the quality care we always strive for. We will be practicing social distancing by practicing curbside care. This means that someone from our clinic/hospital will call you the morning of your appointment and go through any history questions or any other questions/concerns you may have regarding your pet. From there we ask that you call us when you arrive for you appointment, we will come get your pet(s), the Dr. and a technician will perform the exam/vaccinations/treatment needed. Once we are finished with what is needed we will let you know the total of your visit and finish payment via card, check, cash, care credit.

Things we ask from you when considering veterinary care for your pet:

  • Call ahead- Many of you do this already but this will allow us to figure out how we can accommodate your pets’ needs.
  • Please plan ahead- regarding medication and food refills. Letting us refill items ahead of time will decrease contact and wait times. We do not want to run out of stock and may need to order in what is needed.
  • Determine Urgency- If uncertain of what is happening with your pet please contact us by phone before anything else so we can help determine what is going on. If you know your pet is truly needing emergent care please reach out to the Green Bay Animal Referral Center or call us before arriving.
  • Postpone non-emergent cases- We will be doing our best to work with you and your pet with any and all cases but if you feel it is something that can wait until this COVID-19 pandemic clears out please contact us to see what the recommendation would be for your pets’ appointment.
  • Expect extended wait time- We will be doing our best to make sure we stay on schedule but with some of the additional safety measure we will be implementing things may take a little longer than usual so please be understandable and patient while we try to continue to care for you pets.
  • Illness- If you are feeling the slightest bit ill please find someone else (18 years or older who can legally okay medical treatment that may be needed) or reschedule your appointment. We will still do our best to have an over-the-phone consultation with you at the time, before, or after your pets’ appointment.
  • If you have traveled recently you should not bring your pet in and should be in the recommended 14 day self-imposed quarantine.

We would like to thank you for entrusting us with the care of your furry family members. We are committed and always have been to safely providing the best care and service(s) to you and our communities. Please contact either one of our locations with any questions or concerns regarding your pets health, COVD-19, or how we will be choosing to communicate for the time being.
