Vaccine Schedule

K9

DHPP (no lepto) Vaccine

Start at 8 weeks of age and booster every 3-4 weeks until 16 weeks of age

DHLPP (with lepto) Vaccine

Start at 12 weeks of age and vaccinate 2 times 3-4 weeks apart. Dogs older than 16 weeks vaccinate 2 times 3-4 weeks apart.

LYME Vaccine

Start at 9 weeks of age and booster 2-3 weeks apart

BORDATELLA Vaccine

Start at 8 weeks of age and booster annually

RABIES Vaccine

Vaccinate at 4 months old.(16 weeks)  This will be effective for 1 year.  Every Rabies Vaccine thereafter will be effective for 3 years.


FELINE

FELV Vaccine

Start at 8-10 weeks of age and booster 3-4 weeks apart

FVRCP Vaccine

Start at 8 weeks and booster every 3-4 weeks until 14-16 weeks of age. (minimum of 2 doses)

RABIES Vaccine

Vaccinate at 4 months old.  This will be effective for 1 year.  Every Rabies Vaccine thereafter will be effective for 3 years.

FELV/FIV Test

It is recommended that every new kitten or new cat brought into your household be tested for these diseases. It is a blood test that is done in the office. For more information on these diseases, contact your veterinarian.
